Builders from ACEG Road and Bridge Engineering Company Limited are working on connecting the steel box girders of the super overpass on Jinzhai Road across the Flourishing Avenue in Hefei, the capital city of eastern China’s Anhui province
In the early hours of March 18 / Hefei, Anhui Province / The Reconstruction Project of Rapid Jinzhai Road in Hefei, the capital city of eastern China’s Anhui province, which has been building by ACEG Road and Bridge Engineering Company Limited, a subsidiary of ACEG, successfully realized the fine closure of the steel box girders of the super bridge on Jinzhai Road across the Flourishing Avenue.
The work on the intersection of Jin Zhai Road and the Flourishing Avenue constitutes a key node in the whole project, with an underground passage of 871 meters in length to be upgraded and a total 500 meters in length of which will be constructed as main corridors and four new passages will be constructed for pedestrians. After completion, this particular intersection will be a four-storey three-dimensional interchange consisting of underpasses on the bottom, pedestrian channels, ground intersection roads and overpasses on the top, the need for rapid passing through of all the pedestrians, motor and non-motor vehicles, will be met.
In order to ensure the steady progresses of the erection works, the project department has organized experts to demonstrate the construction schemes, the safety protection measures, plan for the traffic organization and the emergency schemes in different occasions for many times, that have provided sufficient technology and security guarantees for the steady progresses of the construction of the project and also laid a solid foundation for the successful completion of the following work – the underpasses.
